2.0.0.2 Broke Career AI Races? (PC)

I just started playing a couple days ago in version 2.0 and started career mode in MX5 and all was going okay. Today after the patch I started playing and the AI are pitting for no reason in every race. Also its not providing the correct race ending results. For instance I was doing terrible in the rain at Silverstone and even after the AI pit I was still 18th which is where I finished but the game gave me 2nd. It showed only the winner and me as finishing the race even though 17 cars clearly finished in front of me. This is on PC and has the irrational pitting occured for 3 races in a row, in 2 different championships. I have not tried other series or regular race weekend mode.
 
To add to this, When the race ends, the results on the podium are correct. At least in mine. I placed first and it showed me as first on the podium.

I also expierenced the same as the OP, but in replay. When watching the replay for the first tiome it showed me in second the entire race, even though in the standings it showed an AI in first place though -7.XXX behind me.

If you back the replay up and let it play, you will see the leader board go nuts with the player posistion. Though the time differential on the side of the players name is accurate. It is just the position the car is in is incorrect. The more you screw with the replay, the worse it gets.

However, I just went back in and repeated the steps and the shuffling of the cars is no longer there.

The pitting thing is a bit strange. It was a 10 lap race and ALL of AI pitted on lap 9. hahahaha I already had an 8 second lead. The race finished with me having a 48 second lead. @ 75% difficulty.
 
I have experienced the same issue with every AI car pitting on the penultimate lap in career mode. Only just started a new career mode and it happened during the MX5-race on Northampton.
 
My career mode is completely unplayable. Finally thought they would fix a lot of the problems with the 2.0 update. But things are more broken than before. I started a career mode in Porsche 992 Cup. I’ve tried 3 races, and each race only the winner is classified with a time at the end of the race. Everyone else is in a completely random order with no race time. The podium matches the incorrect finishing order other than the winner. Just finished a race 11th and I know for a fact one guy in particular finished last. At the end of the race, the classification screen comes up on the last lap as I’m near the finish and I don’t control the car anymore. Them on the classification screen, I’m 16th and last, and the guy I knew was in last place is showing 2nd. Though nobody has a race time other than the winner. I also show as having finished one less than the total number of laps. Also the AI, in a 31 lap race pitted 3 times, and I only pitted once for damage from a crazy AI dive bomb punting me into the barrier on lap 3. This career mode is unplayable…

Oh sorry, I’m on PS5, not PC. But still have a very similar issue

Should have said that I have experienced this issue on PS5 instead of PC. Seems like it is an issue on multiple platforms...
