Let's see if a moderator with more information can clear things up for us PS5 users.
Is VR2 support planned for PS5?
And what about access to telemetry through UDP to connect with SimHub?
 
As a point of order, nearly all of the moderators here are volunteers and we have as much information right now as you :)

I can't, therefore, answer your question but I would imagine if you don't get a definitive answer from one of the devs then don't immediately assume it's because it won't be supported. The team, alongside the publishers, clearly have a marketing plan in place and will release details as and when they are ready to :)

Just so you're aware, us moderators are volunteer community members rather than part of Straight4, and we are not privvy to anymore insider information than the wider community.

Ok, then there's no choice but to wait...
Hopefully they will show more consideration for us than EA with their F1.
 
I think SimHub support is a must for any serious sim these days. As for PSVR2, I'd love to see it happen, but for now, there's nothing on the PSN page that indicates it will be supported. GT7 needs some competition in that VR space on PS5 ^^

Might need to be careful about VR on some PS5 consoles producing further heat. After reading a recent article about PS5s, they "could" be having hardware problems in the next few years due to heating. It might be recommended not placing it in a vertical position. We'll have to see, if this is actually becomes a problem or not.
