Help needed (looking for reference - no art skill necessary)

As I mentioned in the liveries thread, I have started two more Whelen Mazda MX5 liveries, but did not finish those yet as I don't know what stickers they have on their trunks/boots. I'd like to try the power of the community and ask for help finding those out. You can see the liveries in the shots below. Any MX5 cup fans here? Any US fans, that could help? Both liveries are from 2025 season, but it is possible they race this year too.

I've actually beeen poking around the internets looking for these here and there, and this is tougher than I'd have thouhht. Your best source might be the team pages linked on the MX-5 Cup page

I have noticed that decklid advertising seems to be pretty 50/50- a lot of teams don't have any it appears, so releasing them without would probably be close enough?

Thanks for help guys, I probably will hit the discord (I was avoiding it until now, have enough Discord channels open :D ). And thanks Outsider for the time. I know how hard it is - I did my research, know those pages very well, went through teams web pages, instagram, facebook. I was even watching some 2025 IMSA Whelen races on Youtube :D And no luck. That is why I tried this way.

I was also thinking about releasing the skins as they are and simply releasing and update if (or once) I find it out.

Not sure if this will help. Just something I found after a few minutes of searching.

"The document outlines the required and optional decals for a car, detailing their types, sizes, and specific locations on the vehicle. It includes major and minor sponsors, contingency decals, and SCCA required decals, along with notes on what is needed, what is already available, and tasks to be completed. The list emphasizes the importance of certain decals and provides instructions for placement and design considerations."

This is about the decals tied to IMSA Whelen series itself (same on all cars). I have those taken care of (these two are already my 6th and 7th MX5 Whelen skins). I'm looking for sponsor decals specific for these two cars. Believe me guys, if it was that easy as using google, I would have already had those decals for ages :D My Google-fu is strong :D Thanks anyway.

This is tough! I started out thinking there HAD to be something out there, and since I don't make liveries I figured I could help with some research, which I'm usually pretty good at and can do in all the little 5 minute breaks in action I get. Turns out, there's like a few bad long-range photos from about level with the car and some from Daytona. So it turned into a bit of a quest. Or a vendetta. Next step would be e-mailing the team or scrolling the instagram accounts.

Honestly, they look great. I would vote to just release as is, or you could figure out one of the primary sponsors and slap that on the lid. They often change from race to race so it would probably be authentic enough. Or even just paint some stripes like a bunch of cars in the series have.

Never underestimate the length a good painter goes to get their painting just right. The amount of logos some people had to recreate by hand, going on places on the internet that you are certain you shouldn't be here, sometimes even buying photos just to see them in a higher quality are all things that some had to go through way too many times.

So all in all just upload it as is, they look very nice!
