We had a bit of a snow storm two weeks ago. Public transport called it a day at 8pm, leaving just a few trains running and many people stranded.

Sadly I had a place to be (and only was 1.5hrs late), but luckily it was withing walking distance.
I say sadly because I absolute love snow and obviously didn't have enough time to spend in it. I grabbed the camera that was closest to the door and left the house, not knowing that my bus would only take me 1/10th of the way..

Shot on my Pentax K2 DMD, SMC Takumar 35mm f3.5, and, fairly adventurously Ilford FP4 Plus - expired in 1997. Very happy with the outcome though!

I’m glad the weather here in the Netherlands is a bit better than your place. 🥶
 
Headed out this morning to The East Anglian rail tour on its way to Norwich, with Class 40 D213 Andania heading the train.

It's nice to see a Class 40 on Great Eastern rails finally. The Great Eastern Main Line was the first home of the class, with five of the first ten built being allocated to Stratford Depot in 1958. 200 were built in total from 1958-1962 with the last being retired in 1988.

Only seven survive today, including the first, D200, at the National Railway Museum in York, and this example is one of two in operation on the main line railway today.
