*Mods feel free to move if in wrong place!*

What is a game forum if there is no wish list? 😜

With around a year left until release, what are you excited to see from the new game? What are the three things you are wishing for most, or hope to see implemented?

Mine are:

- Great sounds (From today's post, this has me excited)
- Simulation / Realistic handling
- Some kind of in depth career mode with progression, characters, to immerse me into a career

Discuss! The weirder and more obscure the better!

a good and stable multi player w/ a real DS (no p2p relay)
64+ participants
no p2p or functional memory blocks console restrictions
teams with driver change and team liveries
ini/json/xml files instead of encrypted profiles and setups
folders for liveries and parts like in AC w/o not limited through internal parameters
livery distribution system like trading paints
ports for external control of cameras and drivers for streaming or video editors
free camera
plugin system for custom huds and overlays
more animated life in the environment

Open for mods:
documentation and tools for car creation and parameter setting
same for track editing
open for texture packs, not only liveries
suits and helmets

Showroom, Photoeditor:
predifined scenes
coordinates and camera angle input, maybe to be stored by user
CAD style like PC1, drone camera from PC2 and newer is nice for consoles, but crap on PC's
livery reload in showroom, psd file compatible. all you'll have to do is push "CTRL S" in photoshop and in a second you see the change in the showroom. ( works great in Content Manager for AC )
driver visible on/off switch

to be continued......

Stuck record mode engaged

Can we have fully customisable units of measure for everything, not a simple "metric or imperial". For example, I understand speeds in MPH but temperatures in Celcius. Turbo pressure I understand in bar, but tyre pressures in psi. It helps me read values quickly at a glance, rather than having to do maths gymnastics in the middle of a race :)

Ah, yes, track engineer. I suggested this elsewhere - way back - but it would be lovely if the game could send you out on some trial laps, much like the way it did in Shift (or Shift 2, I forget which), and then analyse your inputs and the car speeds to compare against a baseline of 'ideal', making suggestions then both to your driving and the car setup. And then allow the game to do those setup changes for you.

And the same goes for longer races. I don't want to fiddle through menus to find what tyres I want, what pressures to set them to, how much fuel etc, the pit crew deal with that, let them. Let THEM look at the weather forecast, let THEM make the strategic decisions. If you want them to. Of course, if you want to DIY, then go for it :)

I've been infatuated by late 1990s GT1 cars, since FIA started talking about the new Hypercar class, and the 1999 Lister Storm GT already seems to pull in that direction, but I still want to add my vote for those 😅

Oh, and as Cluck has already mentioned, an AI Pit Engineer, who comes up with tire selections, and possible re-fueling stops would also be really nice (y)

An innovative, stable, error-free MP mode suitable for e-sports, with a good TV streaming tool. Like in RRE, ACC, iR and rFactor2.

Clean, smooth movement of the vehicles in MP mode, like real vehicles... realistic. Please no fidgeting and jerking.

Please provide lots of detailed functions for league sports and the admins in MP.

MOD support like in AC would be great.

Thank you.

PS: I think we don't need to talk about outstanding VR headset support, do we? ;-)
It's as important as a steering wheel in a car. :p

I would like to see a proper pit crew and marshals with flags at the side of the track.

For the setups, I would like to have an engineer who I can tell how the car is behaving and then change it in the setup. As a very simple example: I say: The car is too slow on the straights, then he changes the rear wing.
Or: I can't get into 7th gear on the straights, then he adjusts the gears.

I would like to have a fixed number of tire sets (e.g. 4) for online races, which you can also select “used” at the pit stop.

In order to take part in an online race, the respective track must be completed in a certain time and at least 3 laps without incidents.

Absolutely this, I can't stand the panic selecting through various menus while racing or coming into the pits. Just gimme a couple strategies at the beginning of the race to choose from, and then let the race engineer offer me a different option or two I can say yes to during the race, if I prefer that.

I can't believe the amount of times I've left the pits and gone 'oh poo, I completely forgot to pick how much fuel I'm putting in' or 'bugger, I forgot to change my tires'. I'm very forgetful and quite stupid, so if the game can handle the basics of strategy and adjustments etc, and just let me get on with the fun part of the game (the actual driving), that would be awesome!

All the little features that we have built up over the years that elevate PC sims over console racers, such as extensive camera adjustment, head movement, FoV adjustment, multiple input devices, editable button assignments, compatibility with external apps and dashes, multiple choice of audio output, support for ultrawide monitors, triple screens, all the stuff you miss when it's absent. Even the likes of RF2 and ACC could do better but madness titles have always been up with the best in this regard.
