I really like that engine at the time. It was great in NASCAR Heat (the first one), too!6. Viper Racing - bit of a wildcard this, but I think highly underrated at the time, and still today. Developed by Monster Games who went on to do some great work with the early NASCAR Heat games, which were important to me personally as that was the tech platform I chose to develop my own UK oval racing mods (which is how Ian first became aware of my work). Monster Games are actually a studio I think deserve a lot more credit than they typically receive - a very long standing team who have continued to do great work recently with dirt oval racing games; something clearly recognized by iRacing who liked them so much they bought them! Viper Racing itself was kind of a "secret" sim masquerading as a game imo - as far as I remember no licensed content other than the Viper itself, but the physics engine was awesome imo. I particularly remember the "suspension cam", which showed the front wheels and suspension working very realistically.
