Show us your sim rig!

As we live in a rather 'modest' house, I've never had anywhere other than our living room to set up the rig (which Mrs Savoury hated.. obviously).

20 years later, now that (the aforementioned and long suffering) Lady Sav has moved up the corporate ladder sufficiently to work from home on a permanent basis I decided to build and convert a wee summerhouse as an office for her. But not only an office.. there is room for a sofa and tables etc, so we also have lovely wee space to watch movies in the evenings. But not only an office and a movie room.. oh no.

Finally there was somewhere to set up the rig, which is easily dismantled and moved when necessary and is now my wee slice of heaven!

Good to see an updated picture of the Shack!

Currently only race on Xbox because all my mates refuse to get PCs due to the "hassle" 🙄

Anyway, I run the following:
Playseat challenge
Modified Logitech G920
MVH studios QR system
MVH F1L series 2 wheel (pictured - interchangeable with stock wheel, also QR'd)
MVH handbrake (for rallying)
Stock logi pedals with spring upgrade

Limitation being lack of usable button functions due to Xbox and most racing games not being fully compatible (can't even use LSB / RSB!), not to mention the poor racing game catalogue.

@Ian Bell If you could do something about that when making Project Motor Racing that would be great 🙏🏼🙏🏼

Ok, I'm now fully on motion rigs:

Old videos with some bad settings, need to make new ones...

Are you still running 'old faithful' gear from 10 years ago (yes) or are you busily researching 'best steering wheel 2024'.

Show & Tell us what you've got, and what you'd like to upgrade to if those Black Friday deals were juicy enough.

Any body else running bass shakers or any haptic or motion feedback on their sim? I’m just running a 50 watt bass shaker from Dayton Audio and what a difference!! Being able to feel the engine under you and feeling the curbs as you go over them. Wondering if anyone else is just discovering how cool these are on their setup

Yeah it is a game changer. Or was. lol. I had 4 buttkickers under my rig. But had to sell everything due to a move.
It is really awesome. Especially with gear shifting. :D

A great wheelbase, have had it for many years.
Definitely better than the rocks in a box that I have from Thrustmaster (T150 and T300). I tried the T300 on it and just can't after being on the GT DD Pro. I can step down to the CSW 2.5 without any major issues. The CSW 2.5 lacks some smoothness (might be 900 deg. vs unlimited) in the steering which is where DRI comes in to help reduce the drag and some of the finer details are missing. I think that I would be safe to say it produces roughly around 75%-85% of a DD wheel at the same 8nm.

Indeed. Sold mine at the time but would buy if again without any hesitate.
